What to Expect in Immanuel Prayer
If you have never experienced Immanuel Prayer, you may wonder what happens in a session. You meet one to one with an Immanuel prayer coach, either in person or online. The coach helps you settle into prayer, notice Jesus’ presence, and bring what is on your heart into conversation with Him.
The coach’s role is more like a navigator than someone who does all the praying for you. They offer gentle guidance as you listen, respond, and explore what Jesus may be showing you. You might bring a present concern, a difficult feeling, or a memory that still carries pain. The conversation follows your experience and your connection with Jesus.
The Immanuel Approach is easy to learn and put into practice. Over time, you can become more aware of Jesus throughout the day and seek His perspective when challenges arise. A session can be one step toward a more interactive life of prayer.
You do not need to arrive with everything figured out, and there is no promise that every concern will resolve in one meeting. The invitation is to grow in closeness with Jesus. As that relationship deepens, healing can follow, and we can begin to live with greater freedom as the people God created us to be.
